Tuesday, 6/4/24 – Defender Session

***BEFORE STARTING ANY DRYFIRE TRAINING, DOUBLE & TRIPLE CHECK THAT YOUR GUNS & MAGAZINES ARE EMPTY. NO LIVE AMMO SHOULD BE IN YOUR TRAINING AREA.***

Pistol

  1. Trigger Control At Speed (SHO), 10 reps
  2. Draws, 10 reps (Goal: 1.2 sec)
  3. Reloads, 5 reps (Goal: 1.5 sec)
  4. Practice Stage, 10 reps
    • Setup: see diagram above
    • Start in Shooting Position A, on the buzzer engage Array 1, move to SP B, and engage Array 2
    • Alternate starting in both Shooting Positions

Rifle 

  1. Slow Fire Trigger Control (simulated 25 yards), 10 reps
  2. Ready-ups (High), 10 reps (Goal: 0.8 sec)
  3. Reloads, 5 reps (Goal: 2.5 sec)
  4. Practice Stage, 10 reps
