Saturday, 6/8/24 – Defender Session

***BEFORE STARTING ANY DRYFIRE TRAINING, DOUBLE & TRIPLE CHECK THAT YOUR GUNS & MAGAZINES ARE EMPTY. NO LIVE AMMO SHOULD BE IN YOUR TRAINING AREA.***

Pistol

  1. Slow Fire Trigger Control (simulated 25 yards), 20 reps
  2. Draws, 10 reps (Goal: 1.2 sec)
  3. Reloads, 5 reps (Goal: 1.5 sec)
  4. Practice Stage, 10 reps
    • Setup: See diagram above; Start at Shooting Position A or B
    • On the buzzer, engage all targets
    • Alternate starting in each Shooting Position

Rifle

  1. Trigger Control At Speed, 10 reps
  2. Ready-ups (180* Turn), 10 reps (Goal: 1.3 sec) 
  3. Reloads, 5 reps (Goal: 2.5 sec)
  4. Practice Stage, 10 reps
    • Ensure you’re actuating the safety while moving between positions
